KAIT RANKINS

Kait holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, and works as a teaching artist and coach for the Wilbraham Summer Youth Theatre and Performing Arts Programs, Inc. She has coached actors in their performances for productions including Barnum, Once Upon A Mattress, Oliver!, and Once On This Island. She has also taught science to children all over western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut as "Professor Quark" with Mad Science of Western New England before retiring her labcoat in 2010. She has studied with Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, and continues to act and perform locally with both community and professional companies.

Kait's focus is on acting: monologues, audition preparation, speech technique, effective stage movement/use of gesture, full-body physicality, character development, and acting while singing.

PRIVATE ACTING LESSONS WITH KAIT: Six week session (30-minute lessons)
Lesson Times: Fridays, 3:00-6:30 PM
Winter Session Dates: March 2 - April 13 (Skip 4/6) Make up 4/20, if needed.

PRIVATE COACHINGS WITH KAIT: 45-minute coaching
Coaching Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00-5:30 PM
Cost: Coaching are $65 for one, $120 for two, $165 for three or$200 for four.
